Mador
RodâmWhere did you hear about Riot?
I heard about Riot from wowmatcher.com. I am on a different server.
Do you know anyone in Riot who can vouch for you? If yes, who are they and how do you know them?
No, I do not know anyone because I am currently on a different server looking to transfer.
Tell us why Riot should be interested in you. What benefit can you bring to the guild?
I think i would benefit this guild because I am always so easy goiong, I love to have fun and have a good time no matter what I am doing. I also make sure I am striving to be one of the best, if not the best with the group of people I am playing with. I can joke while taking raiding seriously and don\'t need to be told a 2nd time when to do something. I study my class and study the game (not as much as most people but I do my fair share of HW) I read maintankadin.com, mmo-champ. tankspot.com and other forums. I can bring a friendly attitude to the gaming experience, and not only do I know about my class, I try and read up on other classes as well. I also love to raid and would love to see end game content. I know what I am doing.
How long have you played this game?
Since december of 2008.
What other guilds have you been in? Why did you leave?
I began playing Wolrd of Warcraft through some friends and family friends, so when I began playing I joined their family guild, Alexstraszas Guardians, I was on their 25 man Naxx raiding team as a dps. Eventually I got dual spec and went off spec prot, incase they needed a tank one night. I ended up surpassing the players in this guild and seeked more progression and end game content so I began pugging when ToC came out, I stayed in the guild but started to get looked down upon from some of the people due to me pugging. I ended up leaving Alexstraszas Guardians to go make and manage my own guild with soem people that wanted to follow me. I was then approached by a well known player on our server to join her guild U N I Q U E, which was in the progressiong raiding like myself. I joined U N I Q U E and felt at home right away, we raided toc 10 man and 25 man like nothing, then ICC came out and our GM had to take personal leave and i got recruited by my current guild, Naga Inc. Naga inc, accepted me and 6 of my personal friends that followed me where I went, I am still currently in Naga, but they do not progress or take the game as serious as I like to, we have been wiping on rotface and fester for over a month, so now I am trying to find a guild where they seek the progression like i do and a guild where i feel comfortable enough to be myself, the main reason why I am leaving my server is people just dont know what they are doing half the time and they think its fun doing the same 4-6 bosses over and over again.
Describe your endgame raiding experience. Include the current and previous box release, if possible.
I have no pre BC or even BC raiding experience, I hit level 80 when the patch for Ulduar was released. At the time when Ulduar my guild at the time \"Alexstraszas Guardians\" was still fully into Naxx and did not progress hardly ever into Ulduar. The times we did go into Uld, we only got FL, XT, and razor down amd never progressed from there. Once ToC came out we tried it with the guild \"AG\" but could never even down the beast. I got tired of this so me and my brother began pugging toc 10/25. The first few times were a bit rocky but we neded up becomming extremely well known on the server as the ones who put together a fun and succesful pug. We did this until I joined U N I Q U E, once I joined Unique we ran 10 toc/25 toc every week within an hour or 2. Once ICC came out I didnt know to much about it so i began reading, then my GM from Unique had to take a leave from the game and then I joined the guild naga inc. Me and a few freinds threw together a 10 man icc one night for laughs and have been up to blood council. The guild in 25 man has gotten to rotface/festergut but cant seem to down them. I have done 10 man udluar hard modes up to hodir with a bunch of friends for laughs one night, we were going to go back in but people got busy with work/RL. I know I lack a bit in the progression, but I pick up extremely quick and I just want to beable to help a guild in their progression and hopefull they help me in return.
Describe your specs. What is your preferred spec? Do you have a secondary spec? If so, what are your gear and experience like with the secondary spec?
I prefer to tank, I have become a very skilled tank and i highly enjoy a challenge, especially when the dps is trying to rip threat off me, I highly enjoy it. My off spec can be healer OR ret. I have more experince as a ret pally, I have mainly 232/245/226 in both off specs with some 251 gear here and there. My experince in healing isnt very high, just healing heroics toc10/25 (twice) and voa(once). My ret I can pull solid numbers with my gear (about 5k) I have dpsed toc10/25, naxx, ulduar, voa, and sarth 3d.
Describe what skill/spell rotation you use in your primary spec. If a rotation is not appropriate, what is your priority list?
I like to use my own rotation of the 969 pally rotation. It is the same basis, but soem of the spells are a bit rotated. I like to use AV> cons> Hammer of the righteous> JoW>Shield of righteousness>holy shield. Rinse and repeat. I soemtimes have to change it up due to some fights and when i need to taunt etc.
What websites do you use to keep current on your class?
MMO-Champ, tankspot, EJ, Maintankadin. I read them once maybe twice a week.
Do you research boss fights before your guild attempts them? What websites do you use to become familiar with new boss strategies?
Yes I read the boss fights and try my best to study them before we attempt. Of course sometimes RL happens and i dont have the chance, but I will do a quick overveiw. I usually use tankspot.com, EJ for suggestions on how to do it, bosskillers.com.
We raid 25-man endgame content three nights per week: 8 PM - 12 AM Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday, all times Eastern U.S. Are you able to make these days and times?
Yes I will beable to make them all to my knowledge, the only time I wont is if my schedual gets in the way ( I am a fireman) but I usually know my schedual a month in advance.
Describe any prior commitments that could change your raiding availability.
My job, But i can raid from work.
Riot requires that you always bring all necessary consumables for our 25-man raids. This includes flasks/food/potions/etc., and covers all fights -- easymode and progression, normal mode and heroic. Would this be a problem for you?
No I would beable to bring everything I needed.
List your professions and any special epic/rare recipes you have.
I have JC and BS. I am still working on leveling my BS, but my JC is maxed. I have only a few cuts, Most people in my guilds and my friends have the cuts I need.
Post a link with a screenshot of your raid UI. If that is not possible, or if you'd simply like to elaborate on your screenshot, describe what you use for class-specific functions (cooldown timers, raid (de)buffs, damage/healing tracking, etc.) and why.
I use quite a bit of addons, I use recount, Omen, pitbull raid frames, fortexorcist, dbm (can switch if needed) bar tender, pally power, satrina raid buffs, cooldown fader, fast mark. healbot, gearscore addon, sexymap, and vuhdo.
I use recount to look at the healing done/damage done/damage taken. It helps so I can see if I, myself, was doing something wrong and where i stand compared to the other tanks.
I use Omen to help me make sure noone is pulling threat off me and to make sure i stay neck and neck with the other tank/s incase i need to taunt.
I also use cooldown fader so I can tell when my taunts/spells are going to be available again so I try not to miss a beat.
I also use the fastmark and have it on the left side of my screen incase i need to quickly mark something i dont have to fool around i can just click the target and hit what symbol i want.

Post link(s) displaying your recent raid performance. WWS, Recount log, World of Logs... something that gives us a clue what you can do.
I currently do not have any WoL or WWS, But I can easily get some for you if you would like.
Have you raided with any other characters as your main during the current content release? If so, why did you switch?
No, not as my main, but I have taken my alt into icc/toc etc. I just play her for fun now.
We define ourselves as a "hard casual" guild. That means we are committed to doing the best we can in 25-mans for the 3 nights (12 hours) we raid per week, no more, no less. We do not push a fourth night for progression. We do not require guild members to do off-night 10-mans, although many of our members choose to do this in their spare time. Is this acceptable to you?
Yes completely acceptable, I would love to be in a guild that does what they have to do in order to progress and see end game content.
Do you have any guild, raid, or class leadership experience? If so, describe it.
Back in \"AG\" I was the paladin class lead, But to be completely honest, back then I didnt know hardly anything about the game I thought I knew a lot but I didnt know anything. But Whenever I began pugging, People started to know me very very well, even people from the top guilds were wanting to come into my 25 man toc runs on their alts. I was known as the only person on the server who put together successful pugs. I began raid leading and now my current guild will have me explain fights and raid lead on occasion.
In U N I Q U E, I was promoted an Officer right away, then promoted to Co-Gm of the guild. I ran it for a few weeks but people were never happy and/or not willing to raid. So i set up 2 more officers and 2 10 man teams. I then took my leave from the officer position as it began wearing me down.
I still lead pugs in toc/icc10 to this day, But I am training a RL friends how to raid lead so im just there for support.
We seek team players, people who want to do right by the raid and the guild. Me-firsters and loot whores are not desirable. We also seek coverage in all classes such that we'll always have enough to raid, which means you might have to sit on occasion. Do you have any concerns regarding this? (If yes, elaborate. And be honest here, as temper tantrums will not be tolerated once you're in the guild.)
No I do not have a problem with this. Honestly, I play for the guild, I know my time for gear will come eventually, so why rush it? I play for the guild and if i have to sit out it is completely understandable. I will help the guild and/or the players/ co guildies, ANYWAY that is possible for me.
Do you have a reliable computer and a stable internet connection? (Describe any known issues impacting game performance, including a shared internet connection, old computer, etc.)
My computer is a yr and a half old, and shortly will be going in for a cleanup/checkup. When it is in, I have my brothers computer that I can use as well.
My computer runs at about 20-60 FPS and 100 latency.
Do you have Ventrilo installed and ready?
Yes
Do you own a working Microphone?
Yes
